And kimbob, it's a FRENCH MOVIE. That alone obviates the need for an explanation or a treatise.
I just watched SIN CITY. not as nifty as 300...but interesting, nonetheless.

Nah, I was just joking with ya. It's been too long since I've seen it and most of my thoughts were tangential, like Atlantis, Egypt and the pyramids
anyway.
I watched Zodiac tonight. Not exciting at all, but an interesting character study if you like to think about things like human behavior, obsession and coincidence (or if you happen to fall inside of Jakie's puppydog eyes every time you see them, heh).

Hey Kimbob, have you seen Mindwalk? I had forgotten how good that is. It's like the three primary archetypes of modern times that we all have inside of
us, well most of us: the poet, the politician and the scientist/priestess.
It's contrived but I love it. I thought of you several times during it.

It's one of those movies where almost nothing happens, similar to My Dinner with Andre. Just one long conversation and probably not even anything that you
don't already know. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea. But, man, it's fantastic conversation! I'd be downright astonished if you
didn't love it. One of my all-time favorites.

see now Harvey is a classic, and they don't show the bunny till the very end, and he seems like such a nice bunny, companion, drinking buddy
donnie darko's bunny is just creepy and foreboding, its a twisted bunny who eventually does guide donnie to right the crazy world all of lynche's bunnies are surreal, and completely unconnected to the plot or at least don't seem to be connected to the story, and creepy dreamy..... and then there is Alice's bunny who leads her a merry chase and the madness of the march hare - they're all just tripping in that movie and in the movie I suggested on page 1 - Sexy Beast - there is a dream sequence and a rabbit appears in a hole so i had to go read up on the symbolism of Rabbits / Hares / Bunnies - fertility, rebirth, renewal, self-sacrifice. Seems each culture has their own version of bunny symbolism all very similar. and of course the philosophy of time travel with a complete explanation of the Donnie Darko movie i think i'm watching too much tv

Oh - don't forget that the "man in the moon" is considered a rabbit if you're in italy. If that helps contribute to the... ahem... lunacy. Kimbob the Interested
