One was a pit bull with a magenta face and purple body. I named her Magenta. The other was a huge basset hound with a white face. He was a rough and tumble puppy but super sweet. The last one was a tiny yorki mix. I'm thinking this dream was because we were talking last night about Casey turning 15 this month. That's a long time to have a dog. The night before last I dreamed I got my car towed for parking it in the grand opening of a home depo, in the store. There weren't any No Parking signs so I thought I could get away with it. I was really upset I was going to have to pay the towing fee and the ticket. I was so relieved when I woke up and I didn't have to pay all that. And somebody was having shark nightmares.

Posts: 144 (09/02/08 3:13 PM) Secretary of ASS Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite	I don't know if this will interest you at all but it's kind of a strange coincidence/synchronicity because I was googling magenta not more than a month or two ago, trying to see if I could find a consensus on what it represents (since pink & purple just happen to be both trans and my favorite colors). Magenta is considered by some to be the most sacred color because it blends pink (red being the base of pink and representing the Base Chakra, the first one) and violet (purple is the color of the 7th Chakra aka the Crown Chakra). I've heard/read many differing opinions about its meaning though. Some say it balances the heart chakra (since the heart is the middle or fourth of the seven). Some say that there is a mysterious 8th Chakra above the head that connects us to Christ Consciousness, and that its color is magenta. So much of our experience is intangible. So much of what we perceive cannot be expressed: it's unspeakable. And yet when we communicate with one another and we feel that we have connected and we think that we're understood, we have a feeling of almost spiritual communion. And that feeling might be transient but I think it's what we live for. ~ Waking Life

And it was not odd at all that it was a magenta faced purple dog. I really want one now, it was so cute. I should probably name her Chakra though.

I was riding at nighttime in a large vehicle like a van, with a lot of people inside who I barely knew. Then the Heart song "Love Alive" came on and everyone got really quiet and was loving it. And right when she got to the line, "suddenly a sun beam thrilled me to my weary heart," the first purple rays of the sunrise showed up over the horizon as if the universe were conspiring to create that one moment of great beauty. And that's all I remember--just being surrounded by darkness and strangers and getting lost in the purple rays and good heart vibes. So much of our experience is intangible. So much of what we perceive cannot be expressed: it's unspeakable. And yet when we communicate with one another and we feel that we have connected and we think that we're understood, we have a feeling of almost spiritual communion.
